The main goal of the project is the formation of a conscious layer of the younger generation, through their involvement in the traditions of the Ukrainian people of painting eggs.

The PYSANKA project was implemented for the first time on April 24, 2022, with the blessing of Archbishop Vyacheslav Mokshytskyi, the Roman Catholic Metropolitan of Lviv, and the support of the Lviv Regional Administration.

In 2024, 100 internally displaced children joined the Easter egg making workshops organised in Dnipro.

The collection of Easter eggs painted by children and their stories are being displayed in a charity exhibition with meaning and emotion in Dnipro.
